Satellite townships-A new phase in Bangalore

Bangalore will soon witness the launch of 5 satellite townships privately built on an overall area of 60691 acres with approval of Karnataka Government. Among the bidders who want to grab projects in these townships fall Shanghai Urban Construction Corporation and Singapore based Jurong Construction Company. Out of the total land, 9684 acres will be given to private hands in Ramanagaram constituency. The project is based on satellite townships in countries like China, Singapore & US. Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy is personally pitching for the calculated amount of Rs. 30000 crore townships project. On completion this project will be one of the biggest projects of India with modern amenities and least traffic.
