Benefits of Manganese

Manganese is a mineral found in green leafy plants, nuts, pineapple, seeds, wheat and tea, raisins, egg yolks, ginseng, hops, raspberry and many other plants. It is needed for the growth and maintenance of your skin, bone, joints, and cartilage. Manganese is important for the metabolism of fat and protein and it helps to maintain proper blood sugar levels in your body. Its also needed for the functioning of the nervous system. You could say Manganese has its hand in just about everything going on in the human body. Its present in large amounts in many plants and animals, but for some reason is not seen in such large quantities in humans. We do store Manganese in our bodies, but its only about ten milligrams or so stored in the bones, liver, kidneys and pancreas. But View the rest of this article
