Indian Tribes

Traces of connection have been found to the Cueva and Coiba groups, even though some scientists consider that the Cuna may be related to a largely no longer existing language group. a number of Cuna suppose they originate from Carib stock, at the same time as others concider that they come from the god Olokkuppilele that is at Mount Tacarcuna, at the western bank of the river Río Atrato that is in Colombia. Amongst the Chocó, Guaymí, and Cuna, territory was equally divided and farmed. As well as hunt and catching fish, the Indians planted maize, cotton, cacao, different vegetables, and fruits. Some time ago, these Indian tribes lived in round thatched shacks and slept in a large piece of cloth that was hung between two trees. Lots of still do nowadays.
